For my friend Carla!!

So Miss Carla!! You are absolutely amazing at your job. I saw this today and thought of you!! Imagine if this was all the material you had to work with. Though, some how I think you would still fashion something amazing.
Also, let's just look at the real escape rope made of sheets from the prison. Needless to say that prison is now closed.

For my nursing friends!!

Alright, some more things from the museum. The nurses following this should appreciate some of the following pictures. Next time you do something you feel is mean to a patient, perhaps you will realize how far things have come!! I hope these pictures come out in the right order. For those of you that know me, could you imagine if we still had to leech people in a regular basis!! There is a reason I don't work plastics!!
Okay, also, pictures of the central train station and a memorial. Really put some miles on today. There is some artwork from the museum

A back up plan type of day!!

Well Kyle, as you read this shivering, know that even though it rained today, I spent the day in a tank top and skirt. So, no complaints. Looked like it was going to be a nice day and then there was some heavy rain. Alas, that is okay. Move onto the next adventure. Santa was supposed to climb the Story Bridge. Found the bridge, no Santa. Guess he won't hear my Christmas wish. Do you think if I mail it, it will reach the north pole for next Christmas? Instead, a walk through the mangroves and an adventure to the Brisbane City Museum. Some
Pretty cool things.

Mom and Dad, You would be so proud.

So, I spent Monday being a tourist. I went to the City Botanical Gardens. See some pictures posted below. It was beautiful. Justine, there is a picture of the tree we climbed and it's origin. Mom, Dad, the next part is the one you will be proud of. I went on a tour of the parliament buildings. Now mom, there is a test when I get home. Women have been allowed to vote here since 1905, the house of commons has green carpets because they used to meet and vote out on the grass before meeting in house, red in the upper house because that was the colour royalty originally picked, the tables used to be two sword lengths wide because they used to wear swords in parliament and well, you know, basically to avoid battles.
Also, a picture of the mini Eiffel tower on Park Roads.

Mt Coot-tha

Chad had the day off work so off on an adventure it is was. We had a blast. We did the botanic gardens, saw the bonsai trees and went for an uphill hike to get to the lookout point. We found our own trail to the falls and saw aboriginal art.
