Fraser Island

Well, the big thing all backpackers due in Australia on the east coast is go to see and explore Fraser Island. So off I went, from Rainbow Beach to explore Fraser Island with three other cars of backpackers. People hype Fraser island up the whole way, and they are right, it could not be a better place. Everyone tells you if you don't have fun on Fraser, it is your own fault. They are also right. It was an amazing time. You go on these tag along tours, pile into big four by four vehicles and drive along the beach, through island tracks and explore fresh water lakes and streams and ship wrecks and pools and try not to get eaten by dingos. You have dingo buddies oh, did I mention, even though we were the lead car with the guide, our tire fell off, we got stuck and on the third day when we weren't in the lead car, we got lost.
